My first child... well not really

As I was just coming up with my title, and had typed "My first child", I thought, "Man, it's weird that I'm writing about my first article ever published and not the real birth of my first kiddo." But then I remembered that it's not too weird (I hope!) since I don't want this venue to be a billboard for my personal life. That's what Facebook is for, right? Not that I use it that much. Anyways, I'm just letting you know that the first article I've written is about to be released in Hebrew Studies this December. So if you're interested in Biblical Hebrew prepositions or lexical semantics and methodology (I know, there's so many of you!) then I'm sure you'll find a way to get a hold of it.

My apologies if this post comes off as "gloaty"—it's just my real-life friends don't care about this sort of stuff and I have to share it with someone! (Though I will admit, my wife was genuinely excited with me—so that of course made me feel special).

I guess to close this post I should introduce my new baby girl. After all, she's my true firstborn and the smelly devil that makes me smile during the day. So here's a couple pics of Elliot. Enjoy (probably more than my article)!
